The town of Es Capdella ...

... can be reached on foot. This rural region is shaped by many traditional, Mediterranean-style fincas with huge sites and stately properties that perfectly fit into the wonderful nature of Mallorca's south-west. At the end of the very mild winter, the almond blossoms present a beautiful natural spectacle, which appears very prominently in the region around Calvià and Es Capdellà. 

Those looking to experience more water sports than a pool allows can reach the beaches in Peguera or at Costa de la Calma by car in just a short time. The three beaches in Peguera are especially family-friendly, as the clear water here is peaceful, and the beach runs gently in the sea. 

Many visitors come to the region to go hiking. The hiking paths are in excellent condition and are well signposted. After it has rained, similarly to from the area around Campagnet, you can observe so-called Fonts Ufanes here. Rainwater causes spontaneously bubbling sources to form in several places to form a beautiful natural phenomenon that can make a rare rainy day pay off. Anyone preferring to explore the area on horseback can rent a horse for the day or take part in a guided ride.

Despite the rural nature, connections to the capital city of Palma with its international airport are excellent.  The economic and cultural centre of Mallorca can be reached via the motorway in just around 20 minutes. In addition, five outstanding golf courses are nearby with the Santa Ponse I, II and III golf courses, Golf de Poniente and Real Golf de Bendinat, while the yacht harbours of Puerto Portals and the new jet-set Port Adriano can be reached by car in just a short time.
