Llucmajor ...
... is the largest municipality of Mallorca in terms of surface and is situated in the south of the island. In the small town there are supermarkets, popular cafés, tapas bars and many restaurants and shops. On Wednesdays there is a weekly market with a large and colourful selection of fruit and vegetables, also on Fridays there is a large flea market in the Plaza de España.
The village centre around the Plaza has recently been completely renovated.To the north of Llucmajor is the picturesque village of Randa and the mountain of the same name, the highest elevation in the centre of Mallorca, with its 3 monasteries. Due to its proximity to Palma and the airport, Llucmajor has become a popular residential area in recent years. In the surrounding area there are several international schools. The golf course of Son Antem and the nearby marinas make Llucmajor an attractive leisure centre.
The natural beach of Es Trenc, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island with Caribbean flair, is only about 15 minutes away by car.
