The municipality of Seeon-Seebruck is made up of the three communities Seeon, Seebruck and Truchtlaching, and is situated on the northern shore of Chiemsee Lake. In 1980, the three were merged to form one unified municipality.
Seebruck is home to the largest sailing marina at Chiemsee Lake, and with around 500 wet and dry berths, is one of the biggest marinas in Bavaria. It is also the starting point for the popular Alz raft trips to Truchtlaching. From the Truchtlaching swimming area with its large sunbathing area, you can also go swimming in the Alz thanks to the low flow rate.
