Wals Siezenheim - the "largest village in Austria" ...

... is an extremely popular community. With its intact infrastructure, it stands for nature, sport, culture and leisure as well as a direct connection to the motorway. The bus connection to the festival city of Salzburg is very well developed; there is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. It is about four kilometers to Salzburg Airport.

Elementary, middle and vocational schools as well as childcare facilities can be easily reached by bus in local transport.  In addition to the possibility of shopping at the regional farm markets of the Wals vegetable farmers, a shop for daily needs is only approx. 400 m away; the designer outlet center can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.

The local recreation area Saalachau is within walking distance, which is ideal for long walks or runs - summer and winter. Numerous hiking trails, cross-country ski trails and ski areas in the vicinity complement the sporting opportunities. The Marzoll outdoor pool (D) is around two kilometers away, and the Großgmain open-air museum is around three kilometers away. The 1900 m high Untersberg with countless hiking trails, challenging mountain tours and caves is located nearby and can be easily explored by cable car.
